Picking Flowers

Basil watches over the subdued Mop Head Hydrangea flower

Yesterday we got to help pick flowers. Our job was to corral any flowers that missed the water bucket. In spite of the hot weather we had a few weeks ago, there is still a lot blooming. Sarah took the flowers to a dinner party at Joy Creek Nursery in Scappoose. We had to stay home, but Sarah left us with good chew treats.
The nursery had a really friendly chicken that we would have loved to have met, but we doubt the chicken would have liked us much.
