It has been a good year for strawberries. We have picked more from our garden this year than ever before. However the strawberries planted in the ground are not as sweet as in past years...they may need to be moved to a sunnier spot.
We don't have enough strawberries to make jam with, so I bought some at the farmers market. We are going on a trip to Ohio and need a few hostess gifts...Oregon Strawberry Jam and a scone mix from Bob's Red Mill should be a good taste of our home!
