Vegetables at Portland Nursery

Vegetable section at Portland Nursery on SE Division Street

We picked up our Tomato plants from Portland Nursery. They are small but very healthy looking. I will pick off the lower leaves and plant them deeply to allow for root growth all down their stem. We also bought two varieties of Poblano Peppers, one just labeled 'Ancho' and the other Labeled 'Ancho Gigantia' , we will see which one grows and tastes the best. We also bought some ' Genovese' Basil, the tag says it is the best variety for pesto.
