The Stokes Aster (Stokesia 'Purple Parasols') has been planted for four years, two years too long. Berry stood in the center of one clump today, showing off how it flops to the sides. We will pot it up for the Ledding Library plant sale next spring; someone who is not as militant about plant performance as Sarah is may enjoy it.
