Winter Flowers

Spring is on it's way! There is a lot blooming in the garden now; the dogs sniff out new blooms every day.

Two fragrant flowers in bloom are Sweet Box and Daphne. The Daphne looked a little wilted a few weeks ago, but it perked right up once the weather warmed. Both of these shrubs prefer shade. The Sweet Box is a great choice for dry shade; it needs only moderate water once established.
