Winter Veggies

I am really starting to get the hang of growing vegetables through the winter. Keeping the beds covered with plastic has really helped things grow. Next fall I will be sure to start the seeds for the winter crops earlier; maybe as early as the end of September. The dogs are happy that the lettuce is big enough that they can reach up and steal a leaf or two! We have Baby Bok Choy, Red Sails Lettuce, and Mustard Spinach ready to harvest. They will be replaced by Turnips, Lettuce, Fennel, & Spinach.
